Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack: Detailed Review

800 Gambler NYCPG 21+

What to Expect at the Racetrack

Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack has its roots in racing, hosting its first race in 1962. Since then, over 62,000 races have been held at the popular track, and it has become one of the premier destinations for trainers and race fans alike. The addition of the casino in 2004 adds another advantage to visiting the facilities. In this review, we will go over every aspect of what you can expect from your visit.

Finger Lakes Casino Games

The addition of the casino in 2004 means that fans of the track now have even more reason to come visit and enjoy their time in the beautiful Finger Lakes District. The 44,000 square foot casino offers only gaming machines. That includes video poker, progressives, penny machines and others.

Because Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack has a Casino License Class II, they cannot offer any live table games at this time. However, there is still plenty of fun to be had across their 1,100 machines! The casino is also clean and smoke-free, with comfortable seating and an accessible floor layout. Complimentary beverages, coat check services, scoot rentals, and valet are also all available. See a full list of what Finger Lakes casino games are offered below:

  • Slot Machines
  • Video Poker

The Finger Lakes Casino & Racetrack is a good choice for fans of racing, who want to do some gaming during their trip. The lovely property is worth a trip, but players looking for more extensive gambling options, like live table games, may want to visit another casino like Resorts World Catskills.

Promotions

A hand holding out a gift.

Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack has many fine promotions for its patrons. These change on a monthly basis, so it is worthwhile to check their official promo page often to see what is going on before you plan your visit.

This fall, Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack offered three drawings for Mustangs, for three lucky winners. Some other examples of promotions include drawings for $1,000 in honor of “Grandparents Day,” guessing a number of chocolate bars for $1,000 (sweet!), and drawings to spin a wheel for up to $99 in free game play. As we said, check back regularly to see what new promos are being offered.

Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack’s loyalty program is unique in that it covers its video gaming machines, of course, but it can also be used in conjunction with the racetrack. Lucky North Club members can earn rewards points on slots and other games, or every time they make a wager. Points earned at the track depend on the amount wagered, and points are redeemable for free play, on-site food and some additional perks from their online “Points Store.”

Other Features of the Casino

Though Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack is not a full-scale resort, it does try to offer the best in service, dining, and entertainment to its guests during their visits. This includes tasty meals across several restaurants and bars, and regular live entertainment. If you’d rather watch a band swing than a horse race, have no fear! Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack has you covered.
